Commissioned by Saturday Brand for Dermatology, Laser, & Vein Specialists of the Carolinas, this campaign was titled “Tame Your Skin.” The concept was to visually represent the transformation from untamed, wild skin to something reclaimed—clear, radiant, and cared for.
This execution, photographed by Mike Carroll, featured a split-face design, blending human skin seamlessly into the fur of a tiger. The metaphor was direct: skin that once felt wild or unmanageable could be softened, refined, and renewed.
In addition to this tiger version, we also developed companion visuals with a lizard and a giraffe, each symbolizing a different type of skin texture or condition.
To create the organic, believable transition between the model’s face and the animal texture, I sculpted, cultivated, and groomed 3D hair in ZBrush. This gave us a natural flow to the fur, letting it blend into the human features with the kind of nuance that traditional retouching alone couldn't offer.
This project lives at the intersection of photography, digital sculpting, and conceptual storytelling—an approach that invites viewers to engage not just with the surface, but with the transformation it represents.
If you're looking to think beyond traditional photography—into something hybrid, tactile, and emotionally driven—let’s talk.
